About The Project
South Tyneside Council are regenerating the Holborn Riverside Area of South Shields to transform the former industrial dockland into an area suitable for residential development. Coast are acting for housing developers Keepmoat Homes and Cussins (North East) to monitor the ongoing remediation works.
Key elements include demolition of industrial structures, dry dock infilling, new riverside promenade, extensive earthworks and new river walls.
