About The Project
This purpose-built care home is of load bearing masonry construction with precast floors and timber roof construction. A number of balconies are spotted around the building which either protrude from the building or are cut into the building envelope. The existing buildings had basements which needed careful consideration when designing/ planning the proposed foundation solution. SUDS were incorporated via a deep borehole soakaway.
